Chennai Climate Action Group (CCAG)

The Chennai Climate Action Group (CCAG) is a youth-led environmental justice collective advocating for the rights of marginalized and underrepresented communities amid climate change. Using science, law, and media, CCAG supports grassroots struggles against environmental injustice across Chennai.

The group works to amplify the voices of those impacted by climate impacts, promotes climate literacy, and organizes community actions for climate resilience. CCAG actively engages in awareness drives, partnerships, and campaigns that foster inclusive, equitable solutions and call for climate justice in the city. Their mission centers on empowering future generations to build a sustainable, just Chennai.
