Goa Water Stories

Goa Water Stories, hosted by the Living Waters Museum, is an interactive digital archive dedicated to documenting and celebrating Goa’s rich water heritage. Through multimedia storytelling—text, images, audio, and video—the platform showcases traditional water management systems, indigenous knowledge, and contemporary water challenges.

Collaborating with local communities, researchers, artists, and students, Goa Water Stories highlights rivers, wetlands, and coastal ecosystems, while amplifying grassroots narratives of culture, livelihood, and climate change. The project fosters community dialogue, critical engagement, and sustainable solutions by making the region’s water history accessible for learning, advocacy, and inspiring future conservation efforts
