About the event

The event will seek to underscore how inclusive transport interventions can serve as a bridge between climate action, gender justice, and equitable mobility.


Key Sessions

Campfire Session: Spotlighting Commuter Stories

This session will spotlight commuter experiences, ranging from white and blue-collar workers to students and underrepresented groups, sharing personal stories of how the Fair Bus Scheme has impacted their quality of life. This may be direct benefits (through increased savings, investment and expenditure on health, nutrition etc) or indirect benefits (greater access to education and employment opportunity, freedom of movement, inclusion and equity )and also challenges they have faced in terms of changes after the scheme (FLLM, safety, operational hurdles)


Interactive Persona-Driven Workshop

In this interactive breakout session, participants will work in teams to engage with the lived reality of a daily bus commuter. Each group will be introduced to a detailed persona - a story based on our researc…
