Talks to build local understanding and solutions + plantation & waste clean up drive

The SOI Youth Group is hosting a two-day climate-focused event as part of Climate Week 2025, centering the role of young people in responding to the climate crisis. This initiative is grounded in the belief that young voices are powerful agents of change, and that real climate action must begin at the grassroots.This program aims to:

• Build awareness and responsibility around environmental challenges among youth.

• Create a local Green Action Plan through participatory discussions.

• Offer hands-on learning via tree plantation, waste management, and local clean-up drives.

• Strengthen youth leadership and advocacy skills.

• Facilitate dialogue with local policymakers and community leaders.
