About the event

This event marks the launch of India’s first report documenting the lived experiences of transmasculine people in relation to climate change, displacement, livelihood, and health—an area largely invisible in mainstream climate and policy discussions. The objectives are to share the findings with stakeholders, create space for transmasculine voices in climate policy and activism, and build dialogue between community members, climate organisations, and allies, while also highlighting policy gaps to push for more inclusive frameworks.


The expected outcomes include greater awareness of the intersections between gender diversity and climate justice, stronger partnerships between transmasculine communities and climate networks, and increased media visibility to amplify community-led knowledge. The event will begin with registrations and networking tea, followed by a welcome and context setting, an icebreaker, and the presentation of report findings.
