About the event
As part of Climate Week India 2025, YOGI (Youth Organization for Green India) will host a Toxin-Free Food Awareness Yatra across 8 schools in Jalgaon district. This 3-day journey (8–10 September) will be led by Ms. Simran Parmar, Co-Founder, CloseMyLoop.
At each school, the Yatra team will conduct a 1.5-hour interactive session for students of Grades 5 to 8. Through engaging activities, discussions, and demonstrations, the sessions will highlight:
The dangers of processed and toxin-laden foods.
The importance of local, seasonal, and toxin-free diets.
How food choices are directly linked to health, lifestyle, and climate change.
A collective student pledge to adopt healthier and sustainable habits.
