About the event
Showcasing Climate Stories from the Margins
Organised by: Humans for All (Save North-East Campaign)
Location: Jhargaon Village, Marigaon, Assam
This Climate Week, we aim to bring forward the voices and stories from the margins — stories of communities living at the frontlines of climate change but often excluded from mainstream narratives. Through creative expression, student engagement, and access to climate-related literature, we will inspire young minds to think critically and act collectively for climate justice.
1. Art-Making Event – Students will create artworks inspired by real climate stories, especially from vulnerable communities.
2. Awareness Program – An interactive session introducing the impacts of climate change, the importance of community action, and how young people can take part in building solutions. Additionally, we will contribute 10 climate-related books to the school library to support continuous learning and engagement beyond the event.
