About the event
As part of the community events at India Climate Week, this conversation brings together partners, practitioners, and storytellers to explore a central question: what do equitable climate futures look like?
Equity in the climate space is often spoken of in terms of finance, technology, and policy. But lived experiences remind us that it is also about whose stories are heard, whose practices are recognised, and whose futures are imagined. This session creates space for dialogue across communities and sectors, drawing on ethnographic insights, cultural memory, and everyday practices of resilience.
Together with our partners, we will map the many ways equity is understood and enacted, from indigenous traditions and grassroots organising to intergenerational wisdom and youth aspirations. Rather than presenting a single answer, this conversation will surface multiple narratives that shape what a just climate future might mean in different contexts.
